Hairspray

I was captivated by your performance I seen Hairspray on the 27th and 28th of December the first time I saw it I was just stunned by all of the actors performances. At the end of the me and my friends actually got to meet Neil Totton aka Seaweed which was great because he gave us some great tips on how we can further our acting careers.
On the 28th when I seen the show I was singing along and dancing with the beat of the music, this time we were a little closer to the stage.
You guys make the audience/fans feel as though we are right there along with you on stage and it's a great experience.
Keep up with the great performances.

I was wondering if you were cast in Walnut Streets upcoming performance of the Producers in May because I was looking into getting tickets for it. It is one of my favorite musicals and if you were in it, it would put the icing on the cake.

I just saw your performance of Hairspray today and you captivated me so much that I had to look on your website. You were incredibly perfect as Link Larkin. You and Amy Toporek had such amazing chemistry! I see at least one show a year at Walnut Street and I hope to see you again in one of the shows that I will be seeing. You are an amazing actor and you have an incredible voice. Please come back to the Walnut sometime soon.

When I saw Josh Young in "Hairspray" I was absolutly amazed! When I first set eyes on Josh as Link Larkin, I fell in LOVE! He is sooo hot! He is such a good actor. When I was reading the playbill for "Hairspray" I saw that Josh had songs on iTunes, imediatly I said that I was going to put some of his songs on my iPod! And yet I did! Josh is a very good singer! He will be so successful in the music business in the future!

I just saw the last performance of Hairspray and as usual your performance was EXCELLENT! After I was impressed with your version of Marius in Les Mis I decided to see Hairspray as well. I've never had so much fun in the theater. You have such a great presence on stage. I hope you will be in Philly for future shows!!!

Josh,
So.... I'm not the biggest Les mis fan, but my mom loves it, and she talked me in to seeing it at the Walnut this past summer. I was not very ecstatic to be there, but when you came out on stage, my jaw dropped. I had never liked the character of Marius, (no offense, but I always thought he was kind of whiny) but you changed my opinion forever. When you sang "Empty chairs at empty tables" no, joke, I cried. it was so sweet, and yet it was so sad. But, one thing i know for sure. It was beautiful. I loved your performance so much, I begged my mom to take me to see it again.And we did. Then, the summer was basically over, and (sorry!) but i kind of forgot about you. You were always in the back of my mind, but I was so busy with school and the fall show at my school, that I didn't think about you much. But then recently, my mom told me that we were going to see Hairspray at the Walnut, and I was so happy. I love Hairspray, you see, but the real excitement came a minute or two later, when she said "Oh yeah, and that guy from les mis you like, Josh I think?, is playing Link Larkin." I screamed. out loud. To make a long story short, I saw it and fell in love with you all over again. So much, in fact, that at intermission i flew down the stair to the lobby and bought your CD. The second act came, I loved you even more, and then I went home and immediately put your CD on my i-Pod. Now is listen to it non-stop, and I am anticipating going to see you again in Hairspray on my BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!! Wow, I couldn't get a better present then that!!!!!! So, I just wanted to say that you are the greatest, I love your voice, and you, and I can hardly wait for my birthday to get here!!!!!!!!!

Over the last 10 years, I have seen Les Mis in New York, London and Philadelphia. Never have appreciated the role or voice of Marius until I saw and heard Josh Young at the Walnut. I was amazed by the quality of talent and beauty of Josh's voice for such a young man. I look forward to seeing and hearing more of him.

I saw the show last Saturday night and was blown away by the entire cast. Josh sounded better than Michael Ball from my all star cast recording.
